Kinyas Kartal, M.D. was born in Van, 1982. He graduated from Ankara Ataturk Anatolian High School in 2000, and in 2006 he achieved his M.D. from Baskent University School of Medicine. He completed his surgical residency at Hacettepe University School of Medicine in 2013. He completed his mandatory state service in Istanbul Sisli Hamidiye Etfal Training and Research Hospital between 2013- 2015. He has worked as a post- doctoral research fellow at Harvard University School of Medicine between 2016- 2017. His main surgical interests are Breast Surgery, Endocrine Surgery, and Inherited Familial Cancers. He has many published articles in national and international medical journals. He has been working as a general surgeon at Koc University Hospital since May 2018.
