- Was assigned to the vice chair of the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery at the Geneva Medical School Hospital in 1998, to the chair of the department in 2001 and to the director of the Cardiovascular Center in 2011. Received the title professor in 2006, ordinarius professor from the Medical School of the University of Geneva in 2012.
