He was graduated from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Medicine in English at 1996. He completed his urology residency at Gazi University, School of Medicine, Department of Urology in 2003. He worked as staff urology specialist at Uludag University, School of Medicine, Department of Urology between 2003 and 2008. He was a visiting fellow of Urooncology at Vanderbilt University; School of Medicine, Department of Urology (Nashville, Tenessee, USA) between 2008 and 2009. He was appointed as assistant professor of urology in 2009 and associate professor of urology in 2011 at Uludag University, School of Medicine, Department of Urology. He was appointed as Professor of Urology in 2019. He worked as a member of renal transplantation team and performed renal transplantations at Uludag University, School of Medicine, Department of Urology since 2003. He has been working in Koç University School of Medicine since April 2017.
