Sacit Karademir completed his medical education at Hacettepe University (on behalf of Cumhuriyet University) in 1982. He completed his residency training in Aesthetic, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Dokuz Eylül University in 1991. He has successfully applied FUT (Follicular Unit Transplantation) and FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) techniques for 23 years and successfully implemented his own techniques in eyebrow and eyelash transplantation. He founded Society of Hair Transplantation and Restoration Surgery in Turkey, and served as the founding president. He has lectured about hair, eyebrow and eyelash transplantation in both national and international conferences. He worked in the establishment of Koç University Hospital Hair Transplantation Clinic, as the first hair transplantation clinic established in a university hospital.
