M.D. Dilek Ertoy Baydar

Prof. Dilek Ertoy Baydar was born in 1968 in Ünye. She graduated from Hacettepe University School of Medicine in 1991. She completed her residency at Hacettepe University School of Medicine, Department of Pathology in 1996. She had a subspecialty training in nephropathology at Emory University School of Medicine (Atlanta, USA) between 1996-1998. After returning to her homeland, she was appointed as first instructor, then assistant professor at Hacettepe University. In 2002 she was awarded the title of associate professor. During 2003-2005, she worked with  Prof. Jonathan I. Epstein and Prof. Angelo DeMarzo at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (Baltimore, USA) and specialized in the Pathology of Male Genital System and Urological Pathology. She was appointed as a professor at Hacettepe University in 2007. Prof. Ertoy Baydar served as the Chairperson of the Department of Medical Pathology in Hacettepe Un. between the years 2013-2016. She left her post there in 2018. Since February 2018, Prof. Ertoy Baydar has been working at VKV Health Institutions.
