Dr. Mehmet Ali Deveci born at Batman in 1978. He was completed the primary, secondary and high school education in İskenderun and started his medical education in 1996 at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, English Group. He has graduated from medical school in 2002 and in 2003 became a resident of Orthopedics and Traumatology in Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, Ankara. He had the degree on Orthopedics and Traumatology on 2008 and had the opportunity to have EFORT travelling fellowship in Wien, Graz and Innsbruck in Austria. He completed his complementary work for government in Siirt Kurtalan Government Hospital between 2009 and 2010. In 2010, he completed the clinical fellowship of orthopedic oncology in Rizolli Orthopedic Institute in Bologna, Italy under the supervision of Prof. Pietro Ruggiery and Prof. Mario Mercury. He worked in position of educational fellow for a short period in Adana Numune Teaching Hospital and started his academic carrier in Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine, department of Orthopedics and Traumatology as specialist in September 2010. Became assistant professor in 2011 and associate professor in 2017 in the same clinic. During his carrier in Çukurova University, he primarily deal with orthopedic oncology (musculoskeletal tumors) and complex knee arthroplasty. He has the degree of Board of Ortopedics and Traumatology from Turkish Orthopedics and Traumatology Educational Counsil (TOTEK). His fields of interests in Orthopedics and traumatology are orthopaedic oncology, primary and revision knee arthroplasty, complex trauma surgery and sports trauma.
