Prof. Dr. Mehmet Demirhan was born in 1960 in İstanbul. He graduated from İstanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 1984. At the same year he started to his residency in the same university in the department of Orthopedics and Traumatology and he completed his residency at the Heidelberg Faculty of Medicine. In 1992 he started to work İstanbul University Faculty of Medicine. Between 1994-1995 he worked as a research fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh in the department of Sports Traumatology. Prof. Dr. Demirhan has been working at the Koç University Hospital in the department of Orthopedics and Traumatology.
