Kadir Büyükdoğan received his M.D. degree from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine (English Division) in 2008. He participated knee injuries research projects at Garcia Cugat Foundation for Biomedical Research Institute, Barcelona, during his residency training. He completed orthopeadic surgery residency at Hacettepe University Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology in 2014, and subsequently was awarded XXI. Akif Şakir Şakar Science Award with his dissertation project. He then completed his obligatory government service at Mardin Kızıltepe State Hospital. Dr.Büyükdoğan received the overseas reserach grant from Turkish Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology in 2016 and worked as a clinical researcher fellow at University of Virginina, Charlottesville, VA under the tutelage of Mark D. Miller. He subsequently obtained additional hip arthroscopy training in Steadman Philippon Research Institute,Vail, CO with Marc J. Philippon. He worked as an Orthopaedic Surgeon at Dışkapı Research and Training Hospital in Ankara. Dr.Buyukdogan is currently a Fellow of the European Board of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (EBOT), and is the owner of Board Certificate of Turkish Orthopedics and Traumatology Education Council (TOTEK), and Core Curriculum Diploma of European Pediatric Orthopedic Society (EPOS). Dr.Büyükdoğan has joined the Orthopeadic Faculty Pratice in July 2018. His practice focuses on sports medicine, including knee, hip and shoulder reconstruction. This includes hip arthroscopy, ACL reconstructions, meniscus and cartilage surgery, rotator cuff tears and shoulder instability.
