Assoc. Prof. Bengi Gürses, M.D. was born in 1977 in Ankara. After finishing high school in Yüce Science College in 1994, she graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2000. She completed her residency at the Department of Radiology of the in Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty, İstanbul University, in 2005. On the same year she started to work at Yeditepe University Medical Faculty. She received her Assistant Professor degree, in 2005 and Associate Professor degree, in 2012. She attended clinical practice at the University of Wisconsin (body imaging) at 2003 and Royal Brompton Hospital, London (cardiac imaging) at 2014. Since February 2015, she is working at the Department of Radiology of the Koç School of Medicine. Her special area of interests in radiology are: abdominal and breast imaging.
