Associate professor Timur Selcuk Akpinar was born in 1981 in Elazığ. After finishing high school in 1999 Elazığ Anatolian High School, he graduated from Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 2005. He did internal medicine residency in Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, internal medicine department. He finished his residency in 2010. He began to work in the same department in 2011 to 2015 as a research assistant. He received Associate Professor degree of internal medicine in October 2015. He worked in Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine Internal Medicine Department 2005- 2018. He is working in Koç University School of Medicine Internal Medicine Department, since Apirl 2019.
