Prof. Dr. Ayşenur Meriç Hafız was born in 1975. She graduated from Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1998. In 2003, she completed her residency in Ear Nose and Throat at Bezmialem Valide Sultan Vakıf Gureba Training and Research Hospital. Between 2003 and 2006, she worked as a specialist at the same hospital. Between 2006 and 2007 she worked as a research assistant at Cleveland Clinic Head and Neck Institute. In 2007, she returned to her position at Bezmialem Valide Sultan Vakıf Gureba Training and Research Hospital, Ear Nose and Throat Clinic and left in 2008. She worked at Bakırköy Dr. Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital Ear Nose Throat Clinic, she returned Bezmialem Valide Sultan Vakıf Gureba Training and Research Hospital to Ear Nose and Throat Clinic in 2009 and then started to work at Ear Nose and Throat Department and later on became a professor. She started working at Koç University Hospital in 2017.
