Alpay Çeliker M.D. was born in 1956 in Osmaniye. He graduated from Hacettepe University, School of Medicine in 1981. Dr. Çeliker completed his residency at the Hacettepe University, School of Medicine, Department of Pediarics in 1985 and Pediatric Cardiology fellowship in 1990 and started to work as an instructor at the Hacettepe University, School of Medicine, Department of Pediatric Cardiology at the same year. Dr. Çeliker did work cardiac electrophysiology at the OLV Cardiovascular Institute in Aalst, Belgium and Guys Hospital Pediatric Cardiology Department in London between 1992 and 1997. He was promoted to be Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiologist in 1989. In 1996 he became Professor of Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiologist. He is clinical faculty member at the Koc University School of Medicine since 2015. Dr. Çeliker started to work as an attending physician at V.K.V. American Hospital in 2014. He has been working at Koç University School of Medicine since 2015.
