Levent Tabak, Prof.Dr, was born in Eskisehir in 1960. He graduated from İstanbul University School of Medicine in 1984. Dr. Tabak completed her residency at the Istanbul University, School of Medicine in the department of Pulmonary Diseases in 1991 and started to work as an assistant professor at İstanbul University School of Medicine, in the department of Pulmonary Diseases same year. Dr. Tabak have studied as research fellow at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts from 1993 to 1994. He obtained his Associate Professorship of Pulmonary Diseases in 1995 and gained his Professorship of Pulmonary Diseases in 2002. Dr. Tabak has been working as an attending physician at VKV healtcare institutions and he has been a clinical professor at Koç University School of Medicine since 2009
