Leyla Pur Özyiğit, M. D. was born in 1979 in Istanbul. After finishing her high school in Saint Joseph French High school in 1998, she graduated from Istanbul University Istanbul Medical Faculty in 2004. She finished her residency at Istanbul University Istanbul Medical Faculty Respiratory Medicine Department. She completed her allergy sub-branch specialization in Montpellier University, France in 2011 with the grant from European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology. She worked at Muş State Hospital for obligatory medical service. In 2011 she started her PhD-position at the Immunology Department of Experimental Medicine Institute, Istanbul University. At 2013 she stayed in Boston, at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and obtained Drug Desensitization Certificate. She is working in VKV American hospital since January 2012 and also she is working in Koç University Hospital since 2014.
