Burcu Yılmaz Hanege, M.D. was born in İstanbul, in 1985. She graduated from Robert College in 2003 and İstanbul University Cerrahpaşa Medical School in 2009. She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at İstanbul Medeniyet University Göztepe Training and Research Hospital in 2014. She completed her compulsory service at Giresun Görele State Hospital between 2014-2016. She worked as specialist at Giresun University Obstetrics and Gynecology Training and Research Hospital between 2016-2017. She worked as specialist at İstanbul Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital between 2017-2018. She has been working at Koç University Hospital since August 2018.
