Aslıcan Cakkalkurt, M.D., was born in Istanbul in 1979. She graduated from Istanbul Kartal Anatolian High School in 1996. In 2002, she graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine, and in 2007, Marmara University Business Administration Department. She was educated in Lutfi Kırdar Training and Research Hospital and Marmara University Faculty of Medicine, Neurology clinics for a year. She completed her residency of Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine at Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 2012. Between 2013 and 2015, she worked as a specialist in Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine at Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital. Between 2015 and 2017, she was assigned to the American Hospital Patient Experience Office and became a professional medical coach after completing the training of the Medical Coaching Institute. She deals with complementary medicine topics such as phytotherapy and ozone therapy. Since 2017, she has been working at Koç University Hospital, Undersea Medical and Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment Center.
